Charles “Barry” Mayson Sr. “Graduated to be with Jesus.” Jesus was his passion. Mr. Charles “Barry” Mayson Sr., age 63, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Mayson was a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and son of the late Bennie Mays Mayson Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Carr Mayson. He was a US Army Veteran, having served in Korea. Mr. Mayson was the founder of Heaven’s Saints Motorcycle Ministry. He was also founder of Barry Mayson Outreach, which has been in operation for 31 years.

The Heaven’s Saints Motorcycle Ministry provides a Christian brotherhood of bikers to fellowship with and minister alongside. While the majority of members are bikers, owning a motorcycle is not a requirement to be a part of this ministry. Heaven’s Saints members can be found all over the U.S. and in some parts of Canada. Chapters are formed once there are seven members in an area. Members of local chapters work together to reach out to others in their community. Each chapter prayerfully considers how they can best direct their efforts to provide help and assistance to those in need. What defines our character as Veterans is the bond formed through our military service and that bond follows us into civilian life. It is because of this special connection that we are sensitive to the reality that other veterans may not be as fortunate as we may find ourselves.

“These are Better Days my friends, as long as we are still here. It is hard to pick ourselves up sometimes when Life’s ups and downs twist us in unexpected directions.
I wrote this song at a time in my life, where things were not too easy (they usually are not, but I am Thankful nonetheless).
Just when I really wanted to feel sorry for myself; I sat at the piano playing the few chords I know, while thinking of worse times in my life, like watching my beloved Brother in law Dennis Bosco die too young, of people I Love who struggle financially or with loneliness. I thought of our soldiers who sacrifice their lives for us, and leave their Loved ones crying at graves, and thought… What am I complaining about?

Caroline Purr is a Singer/Songwriter hailing from Queens New York.
The youngest of five, Caroline has been singing vocal harmonies on countless Doo-Wop songs with her family since she was four (4).
First song performed with a band: Age 11 Brother’s band in backyard. “Crazy Train”
Joined first cover band @ age 16 called the One Eyed Jacks, and has been singing and writing music, performing and playing in bands ever since.
Currently Lead Vocalist in ‘Off The Chart’ New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Rock band.
